Named after Julius Caesar's Ninth Legion that built the first Roman Fort in Eboracum (York) this blend embodies what we are about at York Coffee Emporium: Medium roasted, The Ninth is an organic blend that's like a big hug in a cup.

It's made up of:

Brazil Fazenda Nossa Senhora Fatima de Cerrado  - A quite superb and unique organic Brazilian coffee being processed in the 'pulped natural' way. Sweet and complex expect cocoa and plum/berry notes.

Ethiopian Kaffa Forest Estate RFA - An amazingly complex coffee grown on a family-owned estate in the highlands of the Kaffa region. There’s lovely floral notes, delicious juicy apricot, forest honey and tongue hugging caramel.

Sumatran Gegartang Village Cooperative Fairtrade- This Gegarang is deep and full bodied with a tangerine sweetness layered with heavy chocolate.

This coffee has a bright sweetness, dark chocolate richness and a tangerine/honey finish.

A bleddy ansome coffee

Absolutely love this blend, it kept us fuelled and full of 'beans' while on our latest climbing trip. Beautiful flavour, no milk required. Would highly recommend.
Nice stuff

Probably one of my favourite offerings from YCE. Well balanced coffee with a good hint of chocolate. Seems pretty versatile and works well with and without milk.
