Taste

Kenya Kambaa tea has a very malty flavor with light hints of currant. With milk, the cup is bright, golden and inviting.

Facts

Kambaa Estate tea is grown at 5,900 feet; the high altitude providing the perfect environmental conditions for this quality tea. Following Indian independence in 1947, tea planters from India brought tea bushes with them to Kenya to start new gardens. The Indian tea plants thrived in the Kenyan climate, particularly east of the Rift Valley. Kenya has now grown to become the world's largest tea exporter with the Kenya Tea Development Agency overseeing production and maintaining rigid quality control standards. The results include this fabulous single estate Kenyan tea.

A lovely rich tea with little odour but great taste. Contains lots of tanning but this doesn't affect the great taste.
