The Aerobie Aeropress has fast become a must have coffee maker for the coffee enthusiast. Ideal for the traveller or solo coffee drinker, it makes one 12oz Keepcup of fantastic, flavoursome coffee quickly and easily. It is extremely easy to clean as the coffee grounds form a cake on the filter which can be dropped straight in the bin.

Made from fully tempered soda lime glass, KeepCup Brew Cork features a natural cork band. Made in Portugal, using waste product from the wine cork manufacture, the band is beautiful to hold, and, over time it’s patina will tell the story of your use.

Perfect for your coffee when you're on the go. The removable, lid has a drinking hole and plug to avoid spillage when walking, driving or on the train.

We recommend that you do not remove the band, even for washing. Hand wash and let the band dry on the glass.

Please note: our KeepCups are 12oz.

Straightforward(ish) great tasting coffee
Firstly the keepcup; an attractive, sturdy and nice sized reusable coffee cup which does the job brilliantly.
Moving on to the aeropress: wow! I've been considering buying one of these for a while now and am just disappointed I hadn't taken the plunge before now. The separate parts can be a little intimidating at first, but the aeropress itself contains clear instructions and there are a wealth of articles and videos out there covering not just the basics but other twists you can apply to the brewing process. It took two cups to get the hang of the basic idea, and I found the whole process to be tidy and straightforward. I certainly did not end up with more coffee outside than inside the cup! I found I preferred the 'inverted' method which gives the grinds a little more time to steep and resulted in a slightly more aromatic and complex cup, but the standard quicker version also yielded very good, perfectly drinkable coffee.
I plumped for the Rwandan Gikomero, which, using the inverted method, was a beautifully smooth coffee, with rich dark, fruity flavours overlaid with a subtle tropical edge (which was more pronounced when brewed the upright way).
Overall I would definitely recommend the aeropress, quick, easy, clean and most importantly it yields excellent coffee!
