The Bodum Brazil French Press coffee-maker incorporates the Bodum motto of great design with affordability and comes in Red, Lime Green or Black.
The cafetiere (or French press) is still the most straightforward way of brewing an excellent cup of coffee.
Using fresh, coarse-ground beans with water between 92 and 96 degrees (just off the boil) a cafetiere brings out the very best in all types of coffee.
Dishwasher-safe, with a stainless-steel plunger, borosilicate glass beaker (made with silica and boron trioxide, making it more heat resistant than normal glass) and a plastic holder in either lime green, red or black, the Brazil comes in two different sizes. Choose from a 3- or 8-cup cafetiere and please note that the size of cup refers to espresso. If you have your coffee in mugs (as many of us do) the 3-cup is ideal for one person whilst the 8-cup comfortably serves two.
A colourful plastic Bodum French Press makes a great gift, especially since it comes with a FREE 200g bag of roasted coffee. Choose from:
Cuban Serrano - a superb rich and traditional full-bodied coffee. With a great Mocha hit and little or no fruity acidity you can savour the nuttiness of this coffee. There is a background smokiness that can be attributed to sandalwood or tobacco.
Decaffeinated Centrals blend - a great-tasting decaffeinated coffee, sweet, bright and smooth with a lively cocoa after-taste.
Emporium Excelso - a superb full-bodied and rich, Great Taste Award-winning coffee, earthy yet with fruity acidity and spicy smokiness.
Guatemalan Bojangles - sweet in aromatics with a fruity start reminiscent of plums and cherry, petering out to a milk chocolate finish.
Rwandan Ngomo - soft, rich and full flavour with 'grassy', tropical notes.
