El Danubio is an amazing coffee scoring 87.5 at our cupping and firmly placing it as one of our best speciality coffees. It's dry fragrance belts out sweet toffee & praline then once the brewing begins it's aroma is mesmerizing candied almonds. To taste this coffee is refreshingly smooth with subtle notes of sweet lemon and pear acidity that develop into a creamy, buttery mouthfeel concluding with a lingering nutty caramel aftertaste. A true ambassador of specialty Colombian coffee!
Facts

This speciality coffee comes from ethically strong direct trade suppliers who offer farmers a better price for their product. El Danubio is a 10 hectare farm located near the town of Plandes in the South of Tolima, grown at an altitude of 1805m. The coffee profile here is sweeter and heavier in body than neighbouring Huila.
