We can’t keep it a secret any longer!

Not only will we be taking our coffee to The London Coffee Festival but we’ve created a brew like none we’ve ever created before. We wanted to do something totally different, an alcoholic, coffee based drink with its roots firmly in Yorkshire. This naturally led us to get in touch with Rob from Moorlands Farm Cyder to discuss an exciting new alcoholic coffee proposition and thus the Coffee Cyder was born!

With apples from East Yorkshire, Moorlands Farm Cyder was launched onto the market in March 2010. In the first year of production their Medium Sweet Cyder was awarded the accolade of Champion Cider at the CAMRA event of East Midlands and Yorkshire Cider Competition. This fantastic, York based cyder brand seemed an obvious choice for our experimental brew!

THE RESULTS

York Coffee Emporium coffee + Moorlands Farm Cyder = a cold pressed fusion of coffee and cyder that tastes like a fortified wine or sherry. Simply delicious, even if we do say so ourselves!

As mentioned in our last post, The London Coffee Festival runs between the 3rd-6th of April at the old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, London.
